Times have passed and circumstances have changed,the function of museum has been transformed from the preservation of cultural relics into the spreading and promoting of the cultural heritages,which is a trend for the development of the museum in the future.This trend has become the bridge of the cultural communication of museum,and improve the exchanges of museum with public.At the same time,due to this trend,the image of museum has been improved,and also the image branding of the museum is the urgent affair.Image improving and branding can help to improve the spreading effects and efficiency effectively,and also can help to reduce the distance between museum and public.In this paper,we will make researched from the image branding of the museum,taking the analysis of individual case of the Palace Museum as example,and research the problems of development in the museums at home.In order to realize the improving of branding image of the museum,the branding image of the museum should be integrated into the design of innovative concepts,so that the cultural elements of the museums can be visualized and younger;When we go deeper into the life of common people,we should also adhere to the responsibilities of cultural inheritance,and also giving consideration to cultural spreading and sticking to the functions of museum at the same time is the problem which should be thought deeply for the promotion of brand of museum.Taking the Palace Museum in Beijing as the research objective,we will analyze and compare the development cases of the branding images at home and abroad in the same time.Based on the researches of the Palace Museum and other large museums in the field,by combination with the related documents to do some researches and analysis,taking the visual image of the brand of the Palace Museum as the entry point,we will clear the visual images of the brands in the museums in China,reexamine the promotion of the brands of museums in the perspective of the construction of the visual images of the brands,discus how to improve and optimize them,promote and apply the design of branding visual on the premise of protecting the cultural characteristics of the museum,so that the visual image of the brand of the museum can be improved,the visual image can be more creative and innovative,and also keep its cultural innovation.In addition,in this paper,by means of the combination with the spreading ways in the era of omnimedia,we can try to research how the online promotion of the cultures of the museum can make the image of it be acknowledged by public and be interacted in cultural spreading.In this paper,all the designs of branding visual image of the museum and the researches for promotion and application,which have been done,are to give some references and aspirations for the development of the museums in China.
