Research On Animation Creation Of Wuxi Salt Culture

From the ancient Wuxian state to Wuxi county,Wuxi salt culture has a history of thousands of years.Meanwhile,the legend of Wuxi salt culture and traditional salt production are intangible cultural heritage,with profound cultural background.Annals documented and museum are main way to inherit Wuxi Salt Culture nowdays.So the author create animation of legend story of Wuxi salt culture to achieve intangible cultural heritage,it's a way to improve artistic expression of Wuxi salt culture.This paper analyzes and sorts out the Wuxi salt culture and legend story,the author also created a short animation with characteristics of salt culture and local customs.The Ningchang township government of Wuxi has carried out the practical application of animation short film,and completed the attempt of animation inheritance of Wuxi salt culture.This paper mainly includes four aspects:1.This paper mainly uses the methods of literature research and field investigation to analyze and sort out the salt cultural resources of Wuxi,and finds out the existing shortcomings of inheritance of Wuxi salt culture.Through analysis the theoretical research of folklore animation and the existing cases of animation inheritance,author believed that animation creation will enhance the artistic expression of Wuxi salt culture.2.The author carries on the overall conception and the preliminary effect experiment to the animation of Wuxi salt culture legend story.Creative idea is mainly reflected in three aspects: In the script,through the adaptation of the narrative rhythm of the salt culture legend story,the drama of the legend story is enhanced;In terms of art style,author used self-made software brushes to simulate the texture of hand painting,and used decorative style in scene design to find a suitable style for this animation project.In the sound design,the reasonable use dialect elements could enhance regional characteristics of animation.3.Through the practice of creation and the practical application,the twodimensional animation short film White Deer With Salt Spring was obtained.4.After author analyzed and summarized research results,the future research direction is planned.Wuxi salt culture is rich in cultural resources for development and utilization,including salt making skills,legends and stories,traditional festivals,historical sites,etc.At the same time,Wuxi salt culture is closely related to witch culture and ancient Ba people in historical context.Although the author only excerpted the legend of Wuxi salt culture to make animation,still hopes to use the animation professional skills learned in three years of postgraduates to create the animation short film of Wuxi salt culture,and provide some practical ideas and references for the animation inheritance of Wuxi salt culture and other intangible cultural heritage in the future.
