Image Elements Of Ancient Ba Culture In Design Of Animated Characters

Animation is a kind of creative "moving" language.Its essence is to give new life to animation characters and express the spirit and thoughts of animation creators by shaping non life characters,designing logical action performances.In the process of animation creation,character design is an important part.Character is not only the visual symbol of animation,but also the key factor to reflect character and promote plot development.At present,the domestic animation character modeling still faces the problem of design generalization and stylization.In view of this problem,the author puts his vision on the colorful regional culture of China,through the case analysis,induction and summary of classic animation characters,combined with the author's creation practice,to explore the combination of regional cultural image elements and animation character design and the creation method.Ancient Ba culture is a unique regional culture in Ba Yu area,which is the crystallization of the wisdom of ancient Ba state and Ba people,and contains rich cultural heritage.For the purpose of creating regional cultural animation with distinctive features and carrying forward the excellent traditional culture in Bayu area,the author tries to integrate the image elements of ancient Ba culture into the animation character design.On the one hand,it can provide a new carrier for the inheritance and innovation of ancient Ba culture,and pass on the profound cultural connotation to the public;on the other hand,it can provide new artistic methods for animation creation,which will be more the special angle presents the ancient Ba culture.Based on the research methods of literature review,case analysis and creation practice,this paper takes the image elements and animation character design of ancient Ba culture as the research object.In the first part,it expounds the research background,briefly summarizes the current application of traditional cultural themes in animation creation and the problems faced by the inheritance of regional culture of Ba and Yu,and puts forward some suggestions this paper discusses the combination of ancient Ba culture image elements and animation character design.The second part analyzes the origin and distribution of ancient Ba culture through the existing literature,and summarizes the concept and characteristics of the image elements of ancient Ba culture.The third part analyzes the feasibility of the combination of ancient Ba culture image elements and animation character design from three aspects: the inheritance and integration of traditional culture,the application of technology and the perspective of society,so as to provide theoretical basis for the follow-up research.The fourth part summarizes the creation principle of the combination of animation and ancient Ba culture,and expands the innovative thinking of animation character design from three aspects of "meaning","shape" and "image".Finally,the creative ideas and innovative methods summarized will be put into practice in the role design of graduation animation "River",presenting and promoting the tenacious,tough,forthright and righteous ancient Ba culture born in the mountains.
