Study On Composition Of Shitao Landscape Painting

In the theory of traditional painting,landscape painting composition is called "constitution" and "layout".The six methods of "management position" and Gu Kai's "layout" proposed by Xie He,a theorist between Qi and Liang dynasties in the Southern Dynasty are both composition,which shows the importance of landscape painting composition.Landscape painting composition reflects the artist's intuitive understanding of objective things and combined with his creative intentions to ultimately achieve the goal of forming an artist's artistic style.Historically,composition is one of the important means of landscape painting creation,and also one of the important topics for scholars to study.Shi Tao,a painter and theorist in the early Qing Dynasty,had an important influence on the painting world.His greatest contribution lies in composition.In The Records of Paintings,he summed up the characteristics of composition,such as "triple","two paragraphs","interception" and "multi-fold",which is the innovation and development of traditional Chinese landscape painting.The perfect integration of painting theory and practice has formed a unique composition.Therefore,the composition of Chinese landscape painting has developed to a certain height in the early Qing Dynasty,and combined with Shi Tao's "One Painting Theory" to summarize its landscape composition.On the basis of his painting theory and practice,combined with the analysis of the composition characteristics of different program works,this paper summarizes the innovation and achievements of the composition of Shitao landscape painting.The significance of this study is that the innovation of Shi Tao's landscape painting composition not only played a connecting role in the development of the landscape painting composition at that time,but also had a far-reaching impact on the composition of modern landscape painting.I hope this article can enable readers to have a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the composition of Shi Tao's landscape painting.
