At present,with the rapid development of science and technology and productive forces in our country,the social demand for high-quality workers has increased and improved dramatically in terms of both quantity and quality.High-quality skilled workers with professional knowledge and skills have become a vital factor in the development of society and enterprises.However,the needs of society are not fully met,so the gap of skilled talents is still the bottleneck that restricts the development of enterprises.As a special training of highly skilled talents,higher vocational education must have the courage to reform and innovate.It should cultivate tens of thousands of high-quality labor reserve forces with professional knowledge and skills for the society.It should give full play to the economic function of vocational education and play a role in ensuring the development of social economy.With the advent of the era of "Internet+",the traditional education model has been unable to adapt to social development.Information technology and advanced teaching equipment are constantly applied to the field of vocational education.In particular,the new teaching mode and method of "Internet+" have been paid more and more attention by higher vocational colleges and universities,such as micro-class teaching and flipping classroom and so on.As a full-time teacher who hasbeen engaged in college English teaching in higher vocational schools for a long time.The author pays close attention to the education of "Internet+",probes into the blended teaching of public English with the help of "Internet+",and analyzes the present situation,problems and reasons of the blended-teaching of public English in higher vocational education by means of questionnaire survey,and puts forward some strategies for improving the blended teaching of public English in higher vocational education based on "Internet+".First of all,through the understanding of the background of the Internet era and the current educational environment,this paper expounds the research background and profound significance of the blendedteaching of public English in higher vocational colleges based on the Internet.Secondly,this paper discusses that the "Internet+" provides the necessary conditions for the blended teaching of public English in higher vocational education.Then,it investigates the present situation of blended teaching of public English in higher vocational colleges based on "Internet+" by questionnaire survey,and finds that the blended teaching of public English in higher vocational colleges has achieved some results,but there are still many problems,such as the interaction between teachers and students,the willingness to participate can not meet the expectations,the evaluation of teaching effect is difficult,and the reasonsfor these problems are analyzed.It is mainly reflected in the incomplete understanding of the participants in the blended teaching of public English and the uneven quality of teachers and students.Finally,according to the survey results,combined with the author's research and practical experience in teaching,this paper puts forward the improving strategies of public English blended teaching based on "Internet",which mainly includes changing the teaching idea,constructing the community of public English blended teaching,perfecting the public English teaching facilities and resource data,optimizing the public English blended teaching management system and so on.
