Along with the popularization of Mandarin language teaching in Thailand,the researches of Mandarin Language& Mandarin language teaching show not only an enormous opportunity and potential,but also challenges,for instance adverbial mark.Previous studies had suggested adverbial mark as a remarkable grammar phenomenon,whereas the relevant researches are scarcity.Meanwhile,it is also presented by previous studies and data that when it comes to teaching adverbial mark is always a critical and complicated.In order to address the issues aforementioned,current research applied inductive,contrastive and analysis methods to examine the adverbial mark in Mandarin and Thai language.The key findings are as following,For restrictive adverbials,in Chinese there is only one case can be found which is no adverbial mark is used,while Thai besides of the case no adverbial mark is used,there is also another case which adverbial mark is optional.While describing actions,the application of adverbial mark shows a high resemblance in Thai and Mandarin which is a adverbial must be applied;while adverb is applied as adverbial modifier to describe the actor,there is only one case in Mandarin which is adverbial mark is optional;whereas in Thai,both two cases no adverbial is used and adverbial mark is optional exist.For the adverbial modifier describing actions,both Mandarin and Thai contain the cases adverbial mark is used;no adverbial mark is used and adverbial mark is optional,nevertheless,when analyzing the different type words applied as adverbial modifiers describing actions,the situation becomes rather complicated in both Mandarin and Thai language.While describing action-object,it is compulsory to use adverbial mark in Mandarin;whereas there are no such words in Thai to describe auction-object,such words in Thai,commonly will be interpreted as attribute.
