Study On Xie Lingyun's Poetic Style

Xie Lingyun was the most outstanding poet in the period of LiuSong in the Southern Dynasty which opened up a new field of expression-landscape.In the Southern Dynasty,his poems were called "Xie Lingyun's Poetic Style" or "Xie Kangle's Poetic Style".From it's origin and the content of imitate Xie's poems in the Southern Dynasty,the so-called "Xie Lingyun's Poetic Style " should refer to Xie Lingyun's new poetry with landscape as its main content,which was written by Xie Lingyun after he was denigrated by YongJia.Its poetic connotation is: in the use of characters,pay attention to the exercise,prefer to use double rhyme words and their own unique temperament of the new words;syntactically,the use of antithesis,inversion,thimble and other rhetorical devices,and create the syntax of "the first two sentences in the second sentence after the second sentence".On the structure of chapter,the stylized tendency on the surface is obvious,but the inner part is changeable and difficult to identify.These poems creatively inherit the emotional nature of Wei and Jin poetry,express the feelings of "hard work" and homesickness in their official career by landscape,and express their spiritual loneliness of "indulge in self-admiration".Based on the essential connotation of emotion,in the art of expression,it creatively inherited the Xingji art of the metaphysical poems of the Eastern Jin Dynasty,took the natural scenery similar to "mood" to rely on metaphysics,and placed emotion on the description of landscape images,so the lyric,the scene,and the reasoning are intertwined with each other that form a new connotation of poetics.Judging from the analysis of "Kangle's dissolute,his writing style does not distinguish the beginning and end" and "Ancient and recent changes",the poetic significance of Xie Lingyun's Poetic Style lies in that it was played an important role in the period of the operation of the Jin and Song poems,let the poetic language go into the development course of sound and color,which is becoming more and more parallel.It lays an important foundation for the development of the five-character-style ancient poetry towards the five-character new style poetry.
