The Uygur Translation Of Fuzzy Numerals In ?A Dream Of Red Mansions?

The ambiguity of numerals is embodied in ambiguous language units.Because literary works generally have the characteristics of image,implicitness,and artistry,the characteristics of their works determine that they will necessarily carry some fuzzy information,and will inevitably use fuzzy semantic numbers.The fuzzy language in literary works usually carries a specific purpose.Therefore,in the process of translation,in order to maximize the reproduction of the original content,the translation of fuzzy semantic numbers is particularly important.This article mainly combines the theory of fuzzy semantics and uses "Dream of Red Mansions" as the corpus to describe and analyze the two types of semantic ambiguities and their corresponding situations in the use of non-spaced and continuous spaced numbers.The above examined the translation methods of corresponding numerals in Uyghur translations,which are equivalence translation of fuzzy numerals,variant translation of fuzzy numerals,translation of fuzzy numerals,and translation of omission of fuzzy numerals,and found that Chinese and Uyghur Similarities and differences in fuzzy semantic number expressions.Numerals in Chinese and Uighur languages are ambiguous.When expressing ambiguous information such as uncertain numbers,time,age,and quantity,the expressions of Hanwei numbers are the same;in addition,because Constrained by language norms and syntax rules,the fuzzy content of some numerals in the source text must be expressed in a non-numeric form when translated.Therefore,in the practice of Chinese-Uyghur translation,we should combine the specific context and the needs of the target readers,and use translation methods appropriately to obtain a dynamic balance of fuzzy information and achieve the equivalent value of the fuzzy content of the original content and the translated content to ensure that Accurate delivery of original content.
