Evolution Of Definition For Plant Nouns In Chinese Linguistic Dictionaries

This thesis,taking 341 plant nouns in "Erya · Shicao" and "Erya · Shimu" as the basic research object,through the ancient and modern dictionaries plants nouns paraphrasing,comparing paraphrasing of the same plant nouns in ancient and modern Chinese dictionaries from different perspectives,summaries up the characteristics of evolution and development between ancient and modern plants nouns paraphrasing.The first chapter introduces the research object,research content,the significance,and summarizes the domestic research status quo,with explaining the general research methods of this thesis.The second chapter is a study of the evolution of paraphrasing in ancient Chinese dictionaries.First of all,this chapter briefly introduces the contents and methods of paraphrasing in several ancient Chinese dictionaries.Then taking plants nouns paraphrasing in "Er Ya" as the foundation,compares the paraphrasing of the same nouns in "Er Ya","Shuo wen Jie zi","Guang yun","Yu pian,","zheng zi tong" to differentiate typical paraphrasing description,contents and methods,which unfolds the evolution of plants nouns paraphrasing in ancient dictionaries.The third chapter mainly discusses the comparison of the relative paraphrasing in ancient and modern Chinese dictionaries,comparing the ancient Chinese dictionaries with the "Mandarin Dictionary" and "Modern Chinese Dictionary".Firstly,we classifies and summarizes the meanings and methods of plant nouns in Mandarin Dictionary and Modern Chinese Dictionary,and then analyzes the characteristics of the ancient and modern evolution and development of the contents and methods in the analysis of materials.The fourth chapter is based on the longitudinal and diachronic comparison of the plant nouns paraphrasing in ancient and modern Chinese dictionaries in the first two chapters,and sorts out the evolution characteristics of the paraphrasing and related problems in the comparison,revealing the relationship between the rise and fall and the evolution of the plants nouns paraphrasing in ancient and modern Chinese dictionaries.At the same time inspired by the previous research on the paraphrasing,combined with the comparison of ancient and modern Chinese dictionary of plant nouns paraphrasing,puts forward some problems which should be paid attention to in modern Chinese dictionary paraphrasing.
