A Preliminary Study Of Ma Ruichen And His Book Named Mao Shi Zhuan Jian Tong Shi

From the Han Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty,the development of Confucian classics experienced different stages and occupied the mian position in various academic fields.The study of Confucian classics flourished in the Qing Dynasty,even surpassed the previous generation and made important achievements.There were many works of Confucian classics in Qing Dynasty.In the study and interpretation of the Book of songs,Ma Ruichen's Mao Shi Zhuan Jian Tong Shi is one of the representative works.Ma Ruichen was a great scholar in the Qianjia period of the Qing Dynasty.His research perspective was very broad,which depended on Ma Ruichen receiving formal trainng in various aspects.Ma ruichen grew up in Tong Cheng,a culturally tolerant city.Under the influence of his father,Ma zonglian,he focused on the study of Confucian classics,has different interests from those of Tongcheng scholars,which enabled him to maintain an objective and rational attitude towards academic studies.Ma ruichen followed different scholars to study,and gradually enriched his academic ideas,studying the book of songs from various perspectives.Ma Ruichen thinked that there was a misunderstanding in the interpretation of Mao Shi Zheng Yi to Mao Shi Gu Xun Zhuan and Mao Shi Zheng Jian,and he pointed out the similarities and differences of these three books in his research,and showed his attitude to the study of the book of songs.By absorbing the experience of others and combining their own completed "Mao Shi Zhuan Jian Tong Shi".Ma Ruichen didn't believing in authority and never sticked to different schools of thought,so long as it could be used in research,in order to express his unique views.Behind this inclusive academic philosophy lies its ambitious research attitude.In a word,on the basis of textual criticism,which scholars in the Qing Dynasty were good at,Ma Ruichen not only questioned the views of predecessors,but also emphasized his own views and restored the original meaning of the book of songs.From the perspective of Han Study and SongStudy,this paper discusses the study and academic characteristics of Ma Ruichen and Mao Shi zhuan Jian tong shi.
