In the process of the development of early Western civilization,French politics,economy and culture had a profound impact on the early Western civilization.In the history of music,France is an important region in the early development of western culture,which is very important for the development of early western music.This paper takes the history of style as the research way,combines the research results of the early music history at home and abroad in recent years,takes the early French music as the research object,and takes the“ pan-European ” style as the research perspective to observe how the French music experienced the historical changes from the regional development to the spread of “ Pan Europe” from the ninth to the 16 th century.The main part of the full text is divided into three chapters.The first chapter is about the French music in the northern cultural region.From the two aspects of social culture and music history,it interprets the development process of France as an important region in the territory of early Western civilization,especially focuses on the core influence of the specific region of France in the formation of early western music;The second chapter takes French music from the perspective of “Pan-Europe”as the research perspective,starting from the European cultural pattern of the fifteenth to sixteenth centuries,combing through the study of the cultural flow of French-Flander composers and the common creative genres of the North and South And analyze the formation and development of the “pan-European” style;The third chapter is the open extended thinking.By combing the key points of the early French music history in the first two chapters,we will further explore the causes of the transformation of early French music from the Northern Cultural Center to the "Pan-European" style that blended north and south.On this basis,the early French music was placed in the overall context of the development of Western music,and an open review of the many changes that French music has produced in the intricate social and cultural environment.
