Analysis Of The Music Style And Singing Characteristics Of Fauré’s Early And Mid-term Art Songs

As a vital part of western art songs,French art songs have influenced the world with their unique artistic charm.As an extremely important composer in the history of French music,Fauré’s creation of art songs ran through the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries and made great contributions to the development of French artistic songs.Based on the practice of individual study of French art song and taking the repertoire of individual lecture concert as an example,this paper makes a thorough analysis of the music style and singing characteristics of Fauré’s Early and Mid-term art songs.In the first part of this paper,starting from the early and middle period of Fauré’s art songs,it introduces his different music style in each period,and analyses the inheritance and innovation of Fauré’s art songs in the 19 th century based on my personal singing practice;In the second part,combined with my own concert program detailed summary of the three characteristics of singing the art songs of Fauré,including the charm of the French pronunciation,the artistic conception beauty of poetry and music in one and the individual beauty of phonation beauty,which is also the focus of this paper;In the end,it summarized the harvest of my personal lectures and concerts practically and realistically,believing that only by constantly correcting the shortcomings can I go further on the path of vocal music.
