In order to properly handle the relationship between government power and people's democratic rights, the founding fathers of the United States formed an ingenious system design through the rational use of the separation of powers and creatively constructed the federal government's division of labor system and check and balance mechanism. This enabled the United States to achieve the ideal of mankind for the first time to build a modern republic with a broad mass of people, while guaranteeing and safeguarding natural rights and freedoms. It has become an important example of a republic system in the world today. However, given the history of mankind's dismal Republican political practices and available state governance experience, not all Americans have supported the adoption of a republican regime from the beginning. In the historical process before and after the founding of the United States, some people did praise the monarchy, and some even advocated the establishment of a monarchy in the United States. It can be said that the Americans resolutely chose a republican government on the basis of repeatedly comparing and discussing different nation-building programs. Therefore, knowing the plan that support the monarchy and the ideas of some founding leaders about the monarchy, and analyzing the reasons behind their different claims, will help us recognize the influence they played when the United States chose a republic, and thus more a comprehensive understanding of the history of the American political system. This article is mainly divided into four parts. The first part briefly discusses the changes about the attitude of the colonial people as imperialpeople to the British king or monarchy when the British government changed its policy on North American colonies. From this we can see what the Americans opposed and why they decided to break with the British Empire. The second part mainly discusses some cases of Americans trying to rely on the support of the military to establish a monarchy in the United States. Some plans went bankrupt on their own, others were resolved in a timely manner, and the United States successfully avoided the emergence of a military government. The third part focuses on how to prevent the presidential system from evolving into a monarchy when the constitutional conference of 1787 constructed the presidential system.Fearing that the monarchy would return to the United States, the Americans carefully designed the constitutional government system. While affirming that the monarchy has advantages in terms of administrative efficiency and is conducive to maintaining political stability,it has adopted the monarchy, especially the British constitution,to the greatest extent. The rational approach of the monarchy has realized the relative unification of the inheritance and innovation of the political system. The fourth part will discuss why and how Washington is to strengthen the administrative powers of the president, making critics borrow "monarch" rhetoric against Washington's domestic and foreign policy, criticized Washington to arrange individual and the entire constitutional system has a tendency to monarchy.
