The Study Of Films Hirokazu Koreeda' From The Perspective Of Oriental Aesthetics

Hirokazu Koreeda has become a high-profile Asian film director in recent years thanks to his involvement in major film festivals at home and abroad.In fact,as early as the end of the last century,Hirokazu Koreeda has been trying to explore and win many awards on the road of film creation after his transformation from documentary film to feature film.In 2018,the Shoplifters won the 71 st Palme D 'or.As a Japanese director,Hirokazu Koreeda's style of creation is characterized by oriental aesthetics,and some core categories of oriental culture,especially Japanese culture,are the essence of the film.These categories are rooted in the eastern national spirit and the Japanese national thinking,through the long-term development and evolution,the final sublimation refined.This paper mainly focuses on four core categories: "morality","material sorrow","enlightenment" and "profound mystery",which are not only the core elements of oriental aesthetics,but also embodied in Japanese aesthetics.In this paper,we want to make a detailed study on how directors present oriental aesthetics in Koreeda's films,both in content and form,through the language of the films,so as to present oriental beauty in Koreeda's films more accurately and comprehensively.This paper will start from four parts: the first part and the second part are the combination of the core category of oriental aesthetics and the film content,which demonstrate the concept of "morality" and "material sorrow".In this paper,the thesis relates the "morality" and the "material sorrow" respectively to the themes shown in Koreeda and his films,and proves the oriental aesthetic concept of Koreeda by constructing the connection between them.The third and fourth parts combine the core category of oriental aesthetics with film form.The content is embodied through the form,and the oriental aesthetic thoughts contained in Koreeda's films are also expressed through the art forms associated with them.Therefore,this paper connects the two core concepts of "enlightenment" and "profound mystery" with the form of the film,as a bridge,and presents the unique oriental aesthetic color of Koreeda's filmsby exploring the narrative mode and the beauty of artistic conception in the film.
