In modern museum management philosophy,"education" has occupied the primary position of the museum's functions and become the core content.The educational activities of the museum are no longer just the explanation of the exhibition,but also the aesthetic education and cultural communication for different visitors through educational activities.For museums in ethnic areas,museums are not only a collection of cultures,but also an important public institution for the display and dissemination of ethnic cultures.In the new era with the arrival of ecological civilization,the education mode of museum has diversified voices,and the interdisciplinary museum education reflects the idea of ecology.From the perspective of ecology,based on the theory and practice of museum education,this paper takes Inner Mongolia as an example to carry out the discussion,mainly including the following parts:First,from the perspective of ecology,this paper analyzes the ecosystem of museum education,further demonstrates the ecology of museum art education,and reveals the ecological characteristics of museum art education.Secondly,the author makes a historical investigation of the concept of modern museum education to form an objective understanding of art education in museums in ethnic areas.In addition,based on the existing educational theories,the feasibility of constructing museum art education from the perspective of ecology is gradually discussed from the support of psychology,philosophy,pedagogy and the theoretical basis of museum education.Thirdly,it summarizes the current situation of museum art education in ethnic minority areas,takes the museum education in Inner Mongolia as an example,analyzes the museum curriculum from the perspective of ecology,and exposes the non-ecological phenomena in the current museum art education.Finally,from the theoretical perspective of ecology,the basic theoretical framework of art education in museums in ethnic minority areas is proposed.Based on the analysis and reflection of theart education activities carried out by the Inner Mongolia museum,the author puts forward that the goal of art education in the museum is to integrate the development of art literacy and humanity,the principle of dialogue teaching as the art education in the museum,and the course design that embodies artistry.The significance of this study lies in that the theory of museum education in Inner Mongolia is supported by the principles of ecology and observation methods,so as to provide references for the implementation of museum art education.
