The Combination Of Middle And Primary Schools Art Education And Museum Education

Art museum education is to provide the public with the opportunity to appreciate the art works directly in the open environment.It is the international trend to combine the art museum education with the primary and secondary education.In various countries,the important issues of art museum are as follows:developing the art museum education among the school children by the use of art museum resources, strengthening the bond between art museum and school,stimulating the students' interests for art,cultivating the students'feeling for art and creativity.Nowadays,the domestic art museums put the education activities on the top of their public service list and associate the art museum activities with fine arts lessons.But,in our country the art museum education is in its initial stage,mostly in big cities like Beijing,Shanghai and Guangzhou.While in the inland,the art museum education is only limited to the exhibition of art works and irregularly scheduled academic forum and international academic exchanges.The art museum education in true sense has not been established.Further studies are necessary to explore the art museum education for school children.Based on the on-the-spot investigation on the actual art museum education in inland Lanzhou province and with the students' individual needs in mind,this paper explores the problems in the practical education activities.Using the documentation of art museum education in home and abroad as the reference,this paper devote to developing the art museum activities by utilizing the art museum resources in special cultural environment. There are mainly three parts in this paper:First part is the general summary of art museum education theory,including its definition,characteristics,history and development.The understanding of these definitions is conducive to make clear the overall direction and meaning of art museum education.Second part is based the account of on-the-spot investigation on the actual art museum education in inland Lanzhou province.It explores the actual problems in art education and proposes the solutions on the cooperation of the art museum and school.The third part is concerns the model of the corporate education between art museum and school.In the light of the expectation and needs of the schools students,the four concrete case of the implementing the art museum education in the school education are put forward in the hope of drawing out the better proposals.
