The Jianghuai area of Anhui Province is adjacent to the Huaihe River in the north and the Yangtze River in the south.With its unique geographical advantages,it was in the key area of cultural exchange and integration during the Shang and Zhou dynasties.The musical relics unearthed here reflect not only the influence of Zhou culture,but also the local characteristics of Huaiyi culture.In recent years,with the gradual progress of archaeological work in Anhui Province,more than 4000 archaeological sites have been found throughout the province,among which musical relics of Shang and Zhou dynasties unearthed in the Jianghuai River Basin occupy a place in the whole country.However,compared with the unearthed music material materials,the archaeological research results of music cultural relics in Anhui area are insufficient both in quantity and depth.No monograph has been found to systematically sort out the music cultural relics unearthed in various periods in Anhui Province.Therefore,based on a large number of Archaeological Studies in the period of Shang and Zhou in Jianghuai,Anhui Province,this paper systematically combs the tombs and the unearthed musical instruments in the period of Shang and Zhou in Jianghuai,Anhui Province,and uses archeological typology research to elaborate on the combination,shape,pattern,function and other aspects of the unearthed musical instruments in this period,so as to explore the production of the unearthed musical instruments in the development process of the etiquette and music system at that time The role and historical impact of students,and then try to explore the period of the Shang and Zhou dynasties Anhui music culture exchange and integration between countries.
