A Preliminary Research On Shang Dynasty Bronzes In Anhui Jianghuai Region

Anhui Jianghuai region is located in the northern and southern China border, which is one of the important areas of the formation and development of Chinese ancient civilization. In the recorded history of the pre-Qin Dynasty, there are little about the Anhui Jianghuai region of Anhui, and it also can not reflect the whole picture of history of this area. So for Anhui Jianghuai Shang bronzes research is to study the history of the pre-Qin Anhui, especially Shang historical research important content. Certainly, the bronzes in this area are very important for regional study on ancient Chinese bronze culture as well as for the exploration of the relationship between the Central Plain and remote regions.This paper deals with the bronze wares of shang Dynasty excavated in Anhui Jianghuai region. The whole passage includes four parts.Chapter one:In the Introduction, this dissertation provides an explanation of the spatial and temporal scales and concepts related to this research, a brief review on how on the Shang bronzes unearthed in the Anhui Jianghuai region are studied, and Summarizes the current status of research. Meanwhile, it also points out the shortcomings.Chapter two:This paper discusses the Anhui Jianghuai region 39 pieces of shang dynasty bronzes. Firstly, we make the summary to the bronzes, including its type, shape, size, decorative design, unearthed place, unearthed age, utensil picture and so on, and then we make the comparison with these bronzes shape, grain to judge its development phase and the age.Chapter three:This part of Anhui Jianghuai Shang bronzes cultural morphology were analyzed to explore. Jianghuai region has a special geographic location. Since prehistoric times, jianghuai region has become the central plains culture and exchange center in the southern culture.This section is divided into two parts. The first part discusses the Anhui Jianghuai region shang dynasty bronze culture morphology. The second part discusses the Jianghuai region and the relationship with the south of anhui.Chapter four:The conclusion part summarizes the previous chapters, lists questions remaining to be solved, and suggests perspectives for future study.
