Pride,as a positive moral emotion,plays an important role in the growth of individuals.This importance is more reflected in the early childhood,3-6 years old children correctly understand and recognize pride,is conducive to the formation of children's good character.Pride mainly comes from the successful realization of goals and the positive evaluation of self and others.Children's ability of self-evaluation develops with age,and teachers play an important role in children's understanding of emotions and establishing good behaviors.Teachers' different verbal evaluation of children will affect the establishment of children's self-confidence and self-esteem.The purpose of this study is to explore the influence of teachers' verbal evaluation on children's pride emotion understanding and to propose the educational enlightenment of teachers on children's pride emotion.In this study,the situational story method was adopted to divide teacher speech evaluation into positive speech evaluation,negative speech evaluation and non-speech evaluation.192 children in two kindergartens in Changchun were studied.The research conclusions are as follows:Conclusion 1: Teachers' different types of speech evaluation affect the emotional understanding of children aged 3-6.After nonverbal evaluation,there were significant age differences in children's emotional understanding(p<0.001).Children aged 3-4 years understand more positive emotions than children aged 4-5 years and children aged 5-6 years.Children aged 3-6 had significant differences in emotional understanding of teachers' verbal evaluation(p<0.05),positive verbal evaluation,non-verbal evaluation and negative verbal evaluation were the order from high to low in the understanding degree of 3-6 years old children.Conclusion 2: Teachers' different types of speech evaluation affect the pride emotional understanding of children aged 3-6.There was no significant difference in the age of children's pride emotion understanding before the teacher's different nature of speech evaluation(p>0.05).After nonverbal evaluation,there were significant age differences in pride understanding(p<0.001).Children aged 3-4 were less affected by teachers' verbal evaluation,and understood more pride emotions than children aged 4-5 and 5-6.Before and after positive speech evaluation,there was no difference in pride emotion understanding between 3-6 years old children(p>0.05).There were significant differences in pride emotion understanding between 3-6 years old children before and after the negative speech evaluation and the non-speech evaluation(p<0.05),positive speech evaluation contributes to the understanding of pride emotion in children aged 3-6,while negative speech evaluation and non-speech evaluation reduce the understanding of pride emotion in children aged 3-6.For children aged 3-6,there were significant differences in pride emotion understanding among teachers' speech evaluation(p<0.05),the degree of pride understanding of children aged 3-6 years was followed by positive speech evaluation,non-speech evaluation and negative speech evaluation from high to low.Conclusion 3: Among children aged 3-6,the younger they were,the more likely they were to attribute their emotional understanding to themselves.There were significant age differences(p<0.05),the younger children aged 3-6 years were,the more they attributed their understood emotions to themselves.Under positive verbal evaluation,there were significant age differences in attribution patterns of pride emotion understanding(p<0.05),children aged 3-4 were more likely to attribute their perceived pride to themselves than children aged 4-5 and 5-6.According to the research results,the following educational implications are put forward: teachers should use positive language in the evaluation of children;Teachers should give children a timely speech evaluation;Teachers should create enough successful situations for children;The teacher's speech evaluation should be objective and concrete;Teachers should guide children to make correct attributions.
