Characterization In Sports Documentary

As a social documentary category,sports documentary is the type of documentary related to social sports.It reflects sports life by selecting typical characters and depicting specific events.In the period of diversified development of documentary,the diversity of creation and production mode of sports documentary improves the overall quality of sports documentary in China,but the complexity of media information environment limits the development of sports documentary.Therefore,the development mode of sports documentary in the new era has become the focus of academic discussion.In this paper,the theme of the sports documentary film is figure shaping.First of all,through the choice of characters to determine the shaping object,and then using the theoretical knowledge of art and literature,through audio-visual and narrative perspectives,the author analyzes the figure shaping techniques in the sports documentary film,so as to analyze the significance of figure shaping for the sports documentary film.In this paper,through three research methods of literature analysis,work analysis and practice analysis,the modeling methods of characters are studied in the visual threshold of sports documentary.The character shaping techniques explored in this paper can promote the production and communication of sports documentaries and contribute to the development of sports documentaries.
