| The creation of contemporary documentaries is affected by many factors such as video technology development,aesthetic appreciation of audience and marketization.The content and form of documentaries are various,while person is the object that documentaries focus and express all the time.Character documentaries is based on person,which is an important part of documentaries.Character is the main art role of documentary,and character figure shaping is the reflection of subjective awareness towards objects by video technology.Taking graduation work “The Guardian of the Mountain” as text,this article combines dramaturgical theory,observation record and narrative montage to study the method of character figure shaping in character documentary,as well as discusses self-expression,objective record and story formation by centering on character.Then the author analyzes the function of audio-visual language in character figure shaping.At last,the artistic features of characters are summarized to provide some reference for the creation practice and theoretical research of similar documentaries. |
