Research On The Change Of Chinese TV Production Network From The Internet And The Impact Of The Internet On Industrial Development

The development of the Internet has great effects on economic society.Within the context,the network TV show with obvious network organizational operational characteristics appears.The paper focuses on the change of Chinese TV production network brought by the Internet and chooses 636 TV dramas from 2016 to 2017 and constructs Chinese TV drama production network(The traditional TV drama occupies 100% and the network TV drama occupies 99%)and analyses the two network structure characteristics of both city and enterprise level with social network analysis.On this basis,the paper measures deeply the effects of the Internet to Chinese TV dramas with econometric analysis.The result is as follows: Firstly,as for spatial distribution of nodes,the development of the Internet centralizes the spatial distribution for Chinese production enterprises,especially the eastern of China: nodes of traditional TV dramas are dispersed in 96 cities,among which there are 82% in the east,4% in the middle and 12% in the west of China.The nodes of online drama production network are more concentrated,among which there are 87% in eastern China and less than 1% in the middle and 7% in the western China.Secondly,on network relational characteristics,the Internet reduces number of nodes of TV drama production network on both urban and corporate level as well as the number of ties.The Internet also increases network density and central potential on urban level but decreases network density and central potential on incorporate level.Thirdly,for distribution characteristics of network power,the development of the Internet renders private Internet film and television enterprises replace the state-owned institutions and become the core within the network.The strong ties within the network transfer from capital strong ties based on organizational vicinity among state-owned enterprises to input and output ties based on industrial value chain division and cooperation for enterprises across geographical spaces.Fourthly,the empirical study of influences of the Internet on Chinese TV drama industry shows that the Internet boosts the development of the Chinese television drama industry.And it has relatively small effects on Chinese traditional TV drama while it has relatively great effects on network drama.
