Objective: primary school is a critical period for attention development in children,and both music and play therapy have been proven to be effective interventions for attention.Following the subject integration orientation,this study uses music games in music class of grade five to design a set of attention training courses by referring to previous research results.In order to achieve music discipline education and teaching objectives,at the same time,students' attention level intervention to improve,achieve music and mental health education discipline integration.It provides empirical evidence for the training of pupils' attention and provides new ideas for the integration of mental health education and other subjects.Methods: a primary school in loudi city,hunan province,selected 40 grade 5 students who were less than one standard deviation of the norm through the adolescent attention test,and randomly divided them into two group,the experimental group and the control group,each with 20 students.Students in the experimental group took music game intervention course designed by the researcher,while the control group took conventional music teaching.The two groups received corresponding experimental intervention each week,a total of 8 times,each time 40 minutes.At the end of the course,40 students were measured to test the effect of the intervention.One month after the end of the intervention,all the subjects were tested again to investigate the stability of the intervention effect.Results:(1)there was no significant difference in gender simple main effect during the three tests of music game intervention course.(2)the total score and four attention quality scores of the experimental group and control group participating in music game intervention course have significant interaction effect on time.The simple main effect analysis results show that there is significant difference between the two groups in the pre-test(P<0.05),while there is no significant difference between the post-test and extended test.(3)multiple comparison results of the experimental group show that there are significant differences in the total score of attention test and the scores of four items of attention quality in the pre-test and post-test,pre-test and extended test scores,while there are no significant differences in the post-test and extended test scores.Conclusion: music game intervention course designed in this study can effectively improve the attention level of fifth-grade students,and the effect of the course has a certain stability.During the course intervention,gender was not the main reason for the difference of attention level.This course has certain reference significance and promotion value for primary school students' attention training.
