A Study On The Application Of Woodwind Instruments In Tan Dun's Music Works

Tan Dun is a representative of the avant-garde composers in China.And his artistic achievements have a great influence on the international music world.Tan Dun is deeply influenced by Chinese traditional culture.Especially the culture in his hometown has a osmotic influence on him.In Tan Dun's music works,he combines Chinese traditional music elements with western music forms,integrates his thinking on all things with Chinese traditional culture,opens up a unique music road,He makes national music better the road to nationalization.In the process of Tan Dun's learning and growing up,his music works and forms of expression gradually enriched,and diversely development.The fusion of Chinese and Western music elements is the greatest feature of Tan Dun's works.The application of Western woodwind instruments in Tan Dun's works is unique.This paper takes the woodwind instruments in Tan Dun's music works Map and Wind and Bird's Whisper as the research object,and makes an analysis and research on the notation,timbre,experience rhythm,orchestration and playing techniques of woodwind instruments.This article is divided into four chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which clarifies the reason,purpose,method and significance of this study.Through literature search and collation,we can understand the current research situation at home and abroad.The second chapter introduces the composer Tan Dun's learning and his experience creation course,and analyses the music characteristics and cultural background of Tan Dun's music creation in each period.The third chapter analyzes the woodwind instrument's implication in Tan Dun's work?The Map?.creation background?implication?notation?tone?rhythm?orchestration and the technical characteristics of performance.The fourth chapter analyzes the woodwind instrument's implication in Tan Dun's work?Secret of Wind and Birds?.creation background?implication?tone?rhythm?orchestration and the technical characteristics of performance.Finally,the full text is summarized.
