The Relationship And Applied Research Between Forgiveness And Somatization Of College Students

Forgiveness is an individual's reaction to the aggressor,the aggressor and its adverse consequences,including cognition,emotion,motivation and behavior which changes from negative to positive.The source of the violation and the object of forgiveness can be oneself,another,or an uncontrollable situation.Individual forgiveness levels can be influenced by age,gender,personality,interpersonal relationships,consequences of aggression,and other factors.Somatization refers to the expression of an individual's emotional or psychological problems through physical discomfort.Previous studies have found that forgiveness level of college students is directly proportional to their mental health level,and somatization is an important negative indicator of mental health level.The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between forgiveness and somatization in college students and to examine the effects of targeted group counseling on forgiveness and somatization.This paper is divided into two parts: study 1.Investigate and analyze the current situation of forgiveness and somatization of college students,and study the relationship between forgiveness and somatization of college students.In this study,800 college students were selected as subjects,and 756 effective subjects were selected for questionnaire survey.Study 2.Design and verify that targeted group psychological counseling program is effective in improving the forgiveness level of college students and thereby reducing their somatization level.26 college students were randomly divided into experimental group and control group.The experimental group received 8 targeted group psychological counseling,and the control group did not carry out any treatment.The results are as follows:Study 1 shows that forgiveness of college students is significantly influenced by the variable of grade.Somatization is significantly influenced by specialty and student origin.Forgiveness and its dimensions are significantly negatively correlated with somatization,and forgiveness has a certain negative predictive effect on somatization.Study 2 shows that targeted group counseling can significantly improve the forgiveness level of college students,thus reducing their somatization level.
