The old sites of the revolution have shown the heroic struggle of the Chinese people since modern times,and are a source of strength for inspiring patriotic enthusiasm,inspiring national spirit and moving forward.However,with the rapid advance of urbanization,the old revolutionary site and its surrounding environment are inevitably under many threats and the form is severe.The Jin Cha Ji border area is the first anti-japanese base area behind the enemy lines.In view of the Jin Cha Ji border region scope is defined,the selection of the typical revolutionary site as the research object,system research the Jin Cha Ji border region revolutionary site type characteristic,spatial distribution,influence factors,delimit shall reserve,targeted shall protect countermeasures,the Jin Cha Ji border region and other revolutionary site of the old revolutionary base areas,the protection and development have important practical guiding significance.This paper analyzes the types and spatial distribution characteristics of 451 old revolutionary sites in Jin Cha Ji border areathe following conclusions are drawn :(1)The old revolutionary sites in the Jin Cha Ji border region are of various types,with a wide range of distribution,prominent historical value,high visibility?great influence,and many rural areas.(2)In terms of the overall spatial distribution,there is an agglomeration distribution,with a high degree of centralization,but the distribution is unbalanced,mainly distributed in 5 cities such as Shijiazhuang,Baoding,Beijing,Chengde and Tangshan.(3)The distribution features of the revolutionary site and closely related to topography,rivers,railways,present in the“low mountain hills directivity,linear distribution of near water short-cutdistribution”characteristics,mainly distributed in the Taihang mountains and Yanshan mountains and Hebei central plains intersection zone,Big qinghe,Hutuo river,Luanhe river valley,Ping Han,Zhengtai,Pingsui near the railway.Through the research on the old revolutionary sites in different periods,it is concluded that the main types and distribution characteristics of the old revolutionary sites in each period are as follows :(1)The old revolutionary sites in the period of establishment,consolidation and development are mainly the old sites of important institutions and conferences,which are clustered in the southwest and northwest areas of Jin Cha Ji;(2)During the period of hardstruggle and consolidation,the former revolutionary sites were mainly the type of sites for evidence of the Japanese army's invasion of China,and were clustered in the southwest and northeast areas of Jin Cha Ji;(3)The former revolutionary sites during the war of liberation are mainly the places where the martyrs' deeds took place or the former cemetery types,which are clustered in the southeastern region of Jin Cha Ji;(4)Since the founding of the People's Republic of China,the former sites of the revolution are mainly monuments(pavilions,towers,halls and pavilions),clustered in the northwestern,southeastern and northeastern regions of Jin Cha Ji.This paper discusses the zoning of the contiguous protection of old revolutionary sites:Based on the revolutionary site types,spatial distribution characteristics of research foundation,determine shall protect the index factors,using the Arc GIS spatial overlay function and kernel density analysis,draw four shall reserve,namely the Jin Cha Ji southwest mountainous area headquarters of the party,government and army garrison contiguous protection areas,Jin Cha Ji northwest mountainous area martyrs cemetery area protection zone,Jin Cha Ji southeast plain revolution memorial area contiguous protection zone,Jin Cha Ji northeast adjacent water area of the Japanese invasion of China.The characteristics of contiguous protected areas are summarized and the corresponding protection strategies are put forward.
