The task-based teaching method emphasizes student-centeredness,requires teachers to design tasks carefully,provides learners with language learning scenarios and opportunities,and guides learners to complete knowledge construction in the process of task interaction in the classroom.Its teaching idea of being a middle school is accepted by teachers and students.From the research status,the task-based teaching method is widely used in comprehensive courses and oral courses in the elementary stage of Chinese as a foreign language,and has achieved good results,but it is rarely used in listening courses,especially intermediate listening courses for international students.This study uses case analysis to explore the application of task-based pedagogy in intermediate Chinese listening courses for Thai students.It aims to design a teaching plan suitable for Thai students 'listening lessons based on the task-based pedagogy.The first chapter of this article introduces the background of the topic selection and the purpose of the research.It comprehensively analyzes the research status of the task-based teaching method and the Chinese listening course for foreigners and the internal relationship between the two.The main research methods adopted in this article are investigation method,classroom observation method,literature research method and case analysis method.The second Chapter discusses the relevant theoretical basis,characteristics,basic teaching principles and implementation steps of the task-based teaching method.The third chapter clarifies the feasibility of the application of task-based teaching methods in the teaching of intermediate Chinese listening courses for Thai students from four aspects: school teaching environment,teaching objects,class types and teaching materials.The tenth lesson Fan Kanball in the textbook "Chapter" presents a specific case of the task-based teaching method in the classroom teaching of intermediate Chinese listening for foreign students in Thailand.The fifth chapter evaluates and reflects on the teaching effect of task-based teaching method in the intermediate Chinese listening class for foreign students in Thailand,analyzes its advantages and disadvantages,and further proposes targeted teaching strategies.
