The smallest free rhythmic unit is foot that is the smallest light-heavy fragment and it plays the very basic role in the language rhythm.A lot of factors,like the number of syllables,the structure,the tone,stress,tempo,semantics contribute to the prosodic word formation.Prosodic word formation sees a series of changing development which includes the gradually increasing number of syllables,the process from phenomenon to essence,the change from syntactic internal to syntactic external,the breakthrough from theory to practice,and the period from continuous hypothesis to validation.Prosodic word formation has transformed structurally,theoretically,practically,overlapping and deepening.This paper takes as a research subject disyllabic,trisyllabic and four syllable vocabulary in HSK Level 4-6,takes advantage of syllable and foot theory,the tempo and beat theory,and rhythm perception theory,and finally gives the rhythm pattern according to the theory of musicology linguistics and Prosody.The author tries to blend music sense to vocabulary and next applies it to the listening and speaking class in order to develop the ability of word sense,additionally,comprehensive application ability.The introduction of this paper is divided into three parts: topic selection cause,literature review,the research target and methods.The topic selection cause is explained theoretically and practically;The literature review includes the outline development of prosodic word formation and the research of HSK vocabulary.The paper mainly uses contrastive analysis and qualitative and quantitative analysis methods to study HSK prosodic word formation in different classification.This part is theoretical explanation.The author firstly introduces the theory on the tempo,beat,rhythm perception and straightens,sorts out the concept about prosodic word,rhythmic unit and prosodic skeleton frame and makes clear of the characteristics of prosodic word;Chapter Two firstly concludes the manifestation of prosodic word formation in Chinese and English and then analyses impact factors of prosodic word information;Chapter Three classifies the different rhythm pattern of different syllable vocabulary with the guidance of syllable and foot theory,the rhythm and beat theory;Finally present the quantitative analysis in the form of chart;Chapter Four is practice session.The first part introduces phenomenon concerned with rhythm in the text;the second part designs the chant poetry and makes related teaching activities referring to the text “Develop Chinese” according to the research above.Ultimately,I hope it does inspiration and help to teaching Chinese as a second language and Chinese learning.In the conclusion part,the author summarizes the research results,innovation,difficulties,and analyzes the shortcomings.Chinese is abundant in musicality.Learn Chinese in musical way so that Chinese lesson will be full of vividness and interest.This research tries to apply rhythm into chant poetry in comprehensive course and further is put into practice in review session after class.
