Research On Public Sculpture Art In Beijing Ancient City Based On Design Ethics

Urban public sculptures have unique values for expressing the city spirit and city image,embodying the city's cultural characteristics,highlighting the charm of the city,and improving the quality of the urban human settlement environment.At the same time,public sculpture,as an important means of conveying social ideals and values,also plays an important role in cultivating the public's elegant aesthetic interest and enhancing public aesthetic education.In view of this,this article takes the existing sculptures in the outdoor public space of Beijing Old City as the research object,focusing on the investigation and analysis of the public sculptures in the "13 Cultural Essence Zones of Beijing Old City",and comprehensively using the knowledge and methods of multiple related disciplines On the basis of literature review and field research,sum up its aesthetic value and ethical function,combined with the practice of organic renewal and protection of the old city of Beijing,and put forward feasibility suggestions and strategies for its renewal and design,management and protection.This article conducts a more comprehensive literature review and field research on the existing sculptures in the public space of the old city of Beijing.At the same time,it is based on the 13 cultural essence areas proposed in the "Beijing City Master Plan(2016-2035)".Existing sculptures in the space that conform to the connotative characteristics of "public sculptures" are subject to key research and classified statistics.On the basis of mastering rich first-hand materials and digging into the existing status of public sculptures in the old city of Beijing,the research information was analyzed,and the aesthetic value and ethical function of the public sculptures in the old city of Beijing were systematically summarized,and some protection strategies were proposed.It has enriched the research on public sculptures in the old city of Beijing at this stage and has important theoretical significance and practical value.First,this article analyzes the unique aesthetic value of the public language of the old city public sculpture from the aspects of formal language,theme expression and modeling style,and draws relevant conclusions: Beijing old city public sculpture expresses in formal language It has the characteristics of easy-to-understand figurative realism,emotionally refined imagery,and abstract generalized conceptual expression;in terms of thematic expression,it has the commemorative expression of historical narrative,the folk expression of the memory of the times,the emotional expression of humanistic care,and a rich and diverse society The characteristics of expression;in the evolution of modeling style,from the monumental sculpture after the founding of the People's Republic of China to the image of leaders and workers,peasants and soldiers before the reform and opening up,and then the aesthetic characteristics of the diversified development after the reform and opening up.Through the above detailed aesthetic characteristics,express its unique aesthetic value.Secondly,this article puts forward the ethical design principles that should be followed for public sculptures in the old city of Beijing,that is,publicity principles,enlightenment principles,and ecological principles;from publicity functions,value-oriented functions,invisible enlightenment functions,and functions to enhance urban cultural taste.In this respect,it explains the unique ethical function of public sculptures in the old city of Beijing.At the same time,this article proposes that the existing public sculptures in the old city of Beijing emphasize more on visual significance than ethical significance.It also pointed out that the biggest problem encountered by the existing public sculptures in the old city of Beijing in terms of space ethics is to deal with the relationship between the sculptures and the decorativeness of the urban space,as well as the lack of their own ethical role.It provides theoretical support for the organic renewal of public sculpture design in the old city of Beijing.Finally,on the basis of the investigation and analysis of the organic renewal and protection of public sculptures in the old city of Beijing,this article puts forward feasible strategies and related suggestions for the renewal and design,management and protection of public sculptures in the old city,with a view to future public sculptures in the old city It is in line with Beijing's urban context and place spirit,more embodying humanistic feelings,and has become a high-quality art work with constancy.
