The Legend of the Invisible City of Kitezh is a four act six stage opera.It is the penultimate opera in the life music creation of the famous Russian composer Rimsky.The script is based on the legend,myth and history of ancient Russia.It was written in 1904,it was first performed at malinsky theatre on February 7,1907.This opera has unique artistic value for the study of Rimsky's music creation,music thought and other aspects.In this paper,the main research object is the singing analysis of part of the aria of fevlonia,the heroine in the opera,to explore the music image,character and image of the heroine.This paper is divided into four parts,the first part mainly introduces Rimsky's life story,main music creation and social historical background;the second part is the introduction of the whole opera;the third chapter is the focus of this paper,first of all,analyze the songs sung by the heroine,then analyze the musical image of the heroine according to her part of the aria characteristics,the heroine's melody is beautiful and uses a lot of alternating modes,the accompaniment texture of piano score is mostly the accompaniment of decomposed chord style,the rhythm of caroling highlights the holiness of the woman;in the fourth chapter,through the analysis of opera noumenon,I will analyze the music aesthetic thought of Rimsky in this opera,sort out his good wishes in this opera;and a brief introduction to the teaching inspiration brought to me by Rimsky's "teaching and learning".
