Research On The Influence Of The Design Elements And Warning Recognition Process Of Drowning Prevention Signage On Its Warning Effect

The security issue has always been a hot topic,and as the times evolve,relevant departments and individuals have paid more attention to security issues of students year by year.Before the drowning accident takes place,the best way to prevent the risk from happening is to make an early warning before the drowning accident occurs.The water management department is obliged to provide relevant warnings to the students who are close to the waters,it is also very important to set up relevant warning signs around the dangerous waters for safety work.This research has explored the influence of the drowning prevention warning effect through its design content and warning recognition process in signage,hoping to improve the effect of the drowning prevention warning signage.In Experiment 1,50 subjects were randomly selected by behavioral experiment method to adopt the drowning warning signage(danger statement: clear,unclear)to conduct the single-factor within-subjects design.The results showed that: under the condition that the danger statement of drowning warning signage was clear,the subject understood the warning better than the unclear danger statement;the subject had a higher level of danger perception than the unclear danger statement.In Experiment 2,32 subjects were randomly selected by behavioral experiment method to adopt the drowning warning signage(consequence statement: added consequence statement,not added consequence statement)to conduct the single-factor within-subjects design.The results showed that: under the condition of adding a consequence statement,the drowning prevention warning signage did not have a significant change in the comprehension of the warning signage.In Experiment 3,45 subjects were randomly selected by behavioral experiment method to adopt the drowning warning signage(signal words: signal word added,signal word not added)to conduct the single-factor within-subjects design.The results showed that: under the condition that the signal word was added,the subject understood the warning better than that the signal word were not added;more than the drowning warning sign without the signal word The attention drought warning sign added by the signal word;the subject's risk perception level of the drowning warning sign added by the signal word was higher than that of the signal word added no drowning warning sign.Subjects paid more attention to the drowning warning signage added by the signal words than the that of not added;the subject had a higher level of danger perception than the that of not added.Combining the results of Experiment 1,2 and 3,the following conclusions were obtained:(1)Under the condition that the danger statement is clear,the individual's understanding of the warning sign and danger perception is enhanced;(2)Under the condition that the consequence statement is added to ensure more clear information,the individual's perception of the danger of the warning sign is enhanced;(3)Under the condition of the addition of signal words,the individual's understanding,attention and danger perception of the warning signage is enhanced.
