A Study Of War Narration In Historical Records

Historical Records(ShiJi)is a treasure-house of narrative,Many scholars,both ancient and modern have excavated,analyzed and discussed,And its narrative art is also reflected in the description of the war.This paper aims to study the use of narrative techniques in the war scenes of Historical Records and its influence,to make a new and beneficial effort to the narrative research of Historical Records.The task of the first chapter is to do basic statistical analysis.First of all,through intensive reading of the textand according to the statistical principle,we sort out the wars recorded in Historical Records,Show the war and its main contents in historical records in the form of table.The second,find out the same parts of the records between Historical Records and Book of History,the Zuo zhuan,Strategies of the Warring States and Guoyu.Finally,analyzes the application methods of war historical materials in Historical Records.The second chapter is based on the statistical analysis in Chapter 1,and focus on the core elements of the war narrative in Historical Records and analyze them in detail.The first section discusses the narrative position of war held by Sima Qian from the perspectives of historians,soldiers,folks and nationalities.The second section discusses the structural art of the war narrative in Historical Records,which is divided into two aspects: whole and single cloth.The third section analyzes the language features of the war narrative in Historical Records,and it is divided into three dimensions: a simple and clear narrative style,a "short" language structure,and a language feature that varies from person to person.The fourth section studies the characteristics of characters in war narratives,through two dimensions of the artistic methods of classification and description of war characters.The third chapter discusses the impact of the war narrative of Historical Records on later generations from two aspects.The first section explores the issue of the sources of war themes in Historical Records,and the influence of the second section on the war narrative methods.In short,this paper aims to make a clearer and more in-depth study of the historical chapters of Historical Records from the perspective of narratology,and make some attempts for the research of Historical Records through statistical analysis and induction.
