| Humanity is the essential nature of human being,it's the main topic of many literary works through the ages.Due to unique life experience and life perception,Mo Yan has a profound understanding and accurate grasp of humanity,his novels mostly involve the theme of humanity.This thesis takes Mo Yan's novels as the study object,combines the relevant theories of Freud,Rolo May,Adler and other psychologists,and ideas of cultural philosophy and other fields,to analyze the fate track,ideological culture and the social and historical facts presented in Mo Yan's novels,and analyzes humanity in Mo Yan's novels in combination with the factor of the times,regional culture and the writer's own life experience.This paper expounds the humanity and its performance in Mo Yan's novels from primitive perspective,rational perspective and spiritual perspective,and to explore Mo Yan's thinking and attitude on humanity.Chapter 1,with the subtitle of the humanity definition and creation background of Mo Yan's novels.Firstly,this chapter to sort basic connotation of humanity in combination of theories of psychology,philosophy and sociology,and to expounds Mo Yan's understanding of humanity;secondly,to explore and analyze background of humanity writing in Mo Yan's novels from aspects of cultural feature of Dongbei town of Gaomi,China near modern history,Mo Yan's childhood experience and his literary writing theory.Chapter 2,with the subtitle of Primitive dimension: confirmation and displaying.This chapter combining with theories of Sigmund Freud,Rolo May and Abraham Maslow,to analyze and expound life desires for primary needs,like food and lust,and original life vitality,included love,having a conclusion that Mo Yan's confirmation and displaying on nature of humanity and original life vitality.Besides,in the view of life feelings,to analyze character's full and comprehensive features,highlighting Mo Yan's understanding and observation of human emotional life.Chapter 3,with the subtitle of Rational perspective: Examining and criticizing.From the aspect of rational perspective,this chapter to analyze that characters' ugly human nature presented in Mo Yan's novels under the background of certain society and social relationship.The ugliness of humanity that described in Mo Yan's novel includes two aspects,the first is cruelty and ugliness presented in brutal punishment and violence;the second is selfishness and rapacity showed in pursuit of fortune and power.According to criticizing the ugliness and weakness of humanity,and further examining human soul,Mo Yan's novel guide people to be kind.Chapter 4,with the subtitle of Spiritual perspective: redeeming and surpassing.In the view of spiritual perspective,to expound characters' spirit and thinking in Mo Yan's novel.In his novels,Mo Yan advocate to save pains in life and guilts in heart by advocating spiritual force,overcoming individual inferiority by spiritual surpassing,and holding back the backward life by life totem,thereby revive the spirit of Red Sorghum.According to advocating individual spiritual force to solve degeneration of human being,Mo Yan is trying to rebuild people's spiritual world and culture. |
