The Guangxi society under the New Guangxi Clique is an important chapter in the history of Guangxi.Under the “three-self”policy of self-defense,self-government,and self-sufficiency,the New Guangxi Clique has carried out large-scale social construction centered on the “Guangxi Construction Program”,and has achieved good results in politics,economics,and military affairs,and obtained“model Province” honor.The Nanning republic of China daily,as an office newspaper of the New Guangxi Clique,has usually domestic and foreign news and various supplements.It not only records the development and change of society,but also carries the important function of disseminating scientific knowledge.This paper adopts the literature method and content analysis method to systematically sort and count a total of 17,400 films of the existing 29 volumes of The Nanning Republic of China Daily from the perspective of history and communication,and from agricultural knowledge,medical and health Knowledge and wartime risk avoidance knowledge were used as profiles to analyze the background and influence of the newspaper's dissemination of scientific knowledge in an effort to present an overview of social education during the New Guangxi Clique period.The first part of this paper mainly reviews the development of The Nanning Republic of China Daily and an overview of scientific knowledge articles in the newspaper.The second part focuses on theanalysis of the text content of agricultural knowledge,medical and health knowledge and wartime risk avoidance knowledge in The Nanning Republic of China Daily.The third part mainly analyzes the characteristics of The Nanning Republic of China Daily dissemination of scientific knowledge.The fourth part is based on the content of the dissemination and the specific behavior of the people,and analyzes the impact of The Nanning Republic of China Daily dissemination of scientific knowledge.Through a systematic analysis of The Nanning Republic of China Daily,it can be seen that The Nanning Republic of China Daily as a major newspaper in Guangxi Province during the Republic of China period,based on practical needs,actively popularized scientific knowledge to the people,passed on scientific ideas,and promoted developing of Guangxi society has made important contributions.
