Returning To "Natucre"

This paper is a discussion of contemporary design issues and a reflection for thinking about the possibilities of contemporary design development based on theoretical research,works analysis and field research on the "useless" living space in Beijing in terms of Realm Theory in Human Words of Wang Guowei.Under the background of the collision and fusion of eastern and western cultures,contemporary oriental humanism is becoming increasingly important for the development of modern design.By comparative analyze of its design being made,as well as the development and achievements for the Japanese design being summarized for reference,this paper explores how China plays the advantages of its culture,integrate the traditional cultures and modern designs as well as find an oriental thinking mode to solve the problems and face the challenges confronted by human beings,to discover the naturalness and humanity of Oriental culture,we will also explore how should Chinese design keep up and how to achieve the possibility of sustainable development of human beings.The author rethinks the relationship between design and nature,trying to find the originality of Chinese design.Generally speaking,through the establishment of a harmonious ecological relationship based on the natural Chinese philosophy methodology,we should return to nature and guide the human’s desire for life to a higher level as well as pay attention to the harmony of nature to design for the real concerns for people so as to reach the new state of the design.
