National Characteristics And Internationalization Tendency Of Tchaikovsky's Music

This paper discusses the national characteristics and internationalization tendency of Tchaikovsky's music,which has always been different views.The analysis of the two chamber music String Quartet in D Major and Piano Trio in Minor is the starting point,as well as some other famous works of the composer.This paper also analyzes the rough and exquisite,masculine and feminine traits of character of Russian nation and its origin from the historical development,and highlights the music creation character of Tchaikovsky in comparison with The Five and the Rubinstein brothers in terms of creation concept,intention and technique: he subjectively focused on his personal life experience and the expression of thoughts and emotions,while objectively became a typical portrayal of Russian intellectuals and their national spiritual world and social life style in the 19 th century,which is the most fundamental point of his musical national characteristics.Although a lot of folk music materials he adopted were from urban,his family and professional background also made him more respect for the principles of classical composition in western Europe and skilled in the use of their skills,it was inferior to The Five in terms of people's character and technique innovation,his internationalization was not equal to the Westernization of academicism,but he always took the Russian style as the main body in the style blending of many countries and regions.Therefore,the national characteristics of Tchaikovsky's music are distinct and unique,and its internationalization tendency is compatible with it.
