The composition Ephemeroptera is a modern-style chamber music created with a trio of flute and string music.The original intention of its creation is to depict a living creature with extremely short life-Ephemeroptera.It is a kind of primitive and beautiful insect.Its life is very fragile and short.The shortest period is only one day.Adults ephemeroptera do not drink or eat anything.Born in the morning and died in the evening.Their only belief is to complete the continuation of life in just about ten hours,then go to the end of life.One day in human life is one lifetime for ephemeroptera.It giving people thought and inspiration.I can’t help but admire the magnificence and vastness of "As if you are in a vast world,as small as a grain of corn in the sea",and praise the greatness and mystery of life.In the creation of Ephemeroptera,the author set the creative theme of "short and splendid life",from two creative intentions set by the biological characteristics of the creature "Born in the morning" and "Died in the night",designed two stages and seven states from life to death.The two stages are: "Born in the morning" and "Died in the night".The seven states are distributed in two stages,which are: "Born in the morning" stage: diving,swimming,breaking,and flapping wings;"Died in the night" stage: seeking,reproduction,and life.The creation of the music Ephemeroptera is based on these two stages and seven states.From the perspective of the creator,the author will analyze and explain how to create Ephemeroptera from three aspects: the structural design of the music,the creative materials,and the organizational logic of the pitch.
