The Realistic Significance Of Absurdity In Contemporary Art Works

As an artistic phenomenon,absurdity is of great significance in the development of contemporary art.What it reflects is the overall social situation of this period and the inner situation of people in this social environment.There are five chapters in this paper.The first two chapters mainly discuss the origin of the sense of absurdity and its influence not only as an aesthetic experience,but also as a living state and social psychology;Chapter three and four,based on Camus' absurdist philosophy as the theoretical basis,studies the background factors of the emergence of absurdity in contemporary society,focusing on the practical significance of absurdity in contemporary works of art.In addition,this part discusses the social phenomenon contained in the absurd interest of the works by enumerating the artistic works of specific artists.The absurdity of artistic works and the irony behind the absurdity have always been the direction of my own creation in the process of artistic practice.In the last part of the article,I sort out my personal artistic creation by combining with the conclusions above,and summarize the reasons for the absurdity in my personal artistic works.Although the cause of absurdity is important,the final point of the article is to explore the deeper core of absurdity,that is,how to seek positive practical significance when you face absurdity? However,it also plays an important role in guiding personal artistic practice in the future.
