A Survey Of The Language Landscape In The Nansha Area Of Guangdong Free Trade Experimental Zone From The Perspective Of Language Service

Language service plays an important role in international social life,and it is closely related to the construction of language environment.Language landscape,as a social existence,is the carrier reflecting the specific language environment.Based on the description and analysis of the language landscape in Nansha Free Trade Zone,this paper explores the construction of language environment reflected by it,and reveals the basic features of Nansha District's language service for open portals.Through investigation and analysis,it is found that bilingual use is the absolute majority in the language landscape of Nansha District,and the proportion of official language signs used in English is higher than that of private ones.This shows that the Nansha District Government recognizes the internationalization of English.But at the same time,it also finds that the scope of service objects of Nansha Language Signs is relatively narrow,and English is almost the only foreign language service language used.There are some problems such as inconsistent traffic signs,dialectal colours in private sign codes,and fewer foreign language service languages.In view of these problems,practical and reasonable suggestions are put forward from the aspects of personal language service consciousness and government language service planning.
