Research On The Relationship Between Parent- Grandparent Co-parenting, Family Environment And Children's Problem Behavior

Parent-grandparent co-parenting has become a very common child-rearing model in Chinese society.In China,the proportion of parent-grandparent co-parenting is very high.However,there are few studies on parent-grandparent co-parenting.The research still focuses on the characteristics of grandparent parenting or emphasizes the differences,advantages,and disadvantages of parenting participation by generations.Few studies have focused on parentgrandparent co-parenting relationship for children.Research on the influence of children's development and adaptation.At the same time,based on the Family Systems Theory,the relationship and interaction between grandparents and grandparents in the co-nurturing of children will also have an impact on family environment,in which children's development and adaptation will be affected by family environment.What impact does the grandparent-parent coparenting relationship have on the family environment and on children's adaptation and development in this family environment? The internal mechanism of its influence on children's choice of research groups is also more common in left-behind children and other groups separated from their parents who are completely responsible for the parenting,rather than the normal common parenting of grandparents and fathers in Chinese society.Family status.Whether from the research point of view or the research object,there is little discussion about the common normal family situation in China,the grandparent-grandparent co-parenting relationship and its impact on the family environment as a whole and on the children in the system.In view of the above research status,this study uses questionnaire survey to understand the current situation of parent-grandparent co-parenting and the differences of different demographic variables of grandparent-parent co-parenting,explore the factors affecting grandparent-parent coparenting relationship,investigate the relationship between grandparent-parent co-parenting,family environment and children's problem behavior,and study the grandparent-parent coparenting,family environment.The mechanism of interaction with children's problem behaviors.Through the research,we can understand the current situation of parent-grandparent co-parenting and its impact on family environment and children's development.The family members could attach importance to the parent-grandparent co-parenting relationship and the construction of family environment,to form a more harmonious intergenerational relationship and help children create a better family environment,thereby reducing the occurrence of children's problem behavior.In this study,a questionnaire was used to explore the current situation and influencing factors of grandparent-parent co-parenting relationship,and to explore its relationship with family environment and children's problem behaviors.The study found that:(1)Negative dimension score of grandparent-parent co-parenting relationship was high.The relationship with nurturing is not harmonious enough.(2)The co-parenting relationship between grandparents and grandparents is influenced by many factors,such as whether the grandchildren are only children or grandparents.There are significant differences in the starting time of children's involvement and the family's economic status.The grandchildren are only children.The early involvement of grandparents in the grandchildren's co-parenting will significantly improve the parenting support in the grandparentparent co-parenting relationship,while the family economic environment will significantly affect the dimension of parenting conflict and parenting depreciation.(3)The grandparent-parent co-parenting relationship has a significant impact on children's problem behaviors.Parenting support for children problem behavior has significant negative predictive power,and parenting conflict has significant positive predictive power for children's problem behavior.(4)The grandparent-parent co-parenting relationship has a significant impact on family environment.Parenting Support for Family Environment There was a significant positive predictive power,and parenting depreciation had a significant negative predictive power on intimacy in the family environment.(5)Family environment has significant negative predictive power on children's problem behaviors.(6)Family environment partially mediates between grandparent-parent co-parenting and children's problem behaviors.
