With the increasing number of Central Asian students studying Chinese in China,the study of Chinese learning for foreign students in Central Asia is developing and improving.In the process of developing the discipline of teaching Chinese for foreigners,the construction of teaching materials has always been in an eye-catching position.Due to its special status,the compilation and analysis of the textbooks is attracting more and more attention from researchers.The teaching material embodies the teaching theory and teaching method,which is the link of the overall design of the teaching and the classroom teaching,and is the concrete and direct basis for the implementation of the classroom teaching.The level of teaching materials reflects the depth of the study of teaching method and teaching theory,and it also determines the effect of teaching and learning to a great extent.Teaching materials are used in the first line of teaching and are directly subject to the test of classroom teaching and learning activities.Therefore,based on the "development of Chinese" Intermediate Intensive Textbooks(?and?)two textbooks as the research object,using observation method,questionnaire survey method,statistical analysis and interviews,based on foreign language teaching theory,from new words,texts,comprehensive notes and comprehensive practice arrangement of "the development of Chinese" intermediate intensive textbooks are analyzed,through the study found: "development of Chinese" Intermediate Intensive Textbooks basically accord with the International Cultural Exchange School of Xinjiang Normal University Central Asian students Chinese level,the high degree of recognition of teachers and students of the teaching materials.However,some aspects of the teaching materials are not suitable for the students of Central Asia,such as: the English interpretation of the vocabulary in the textbook,the excessive amount of practice,and so on.Based on the analysis,this paper puts forward some suggestions for the shortage of Intermediate Intensive Reading Materials in developing Chinese,in order to provide some references for textbook writers or users.
