Textbook is the application and embodiment of theoretical research,which is the link between teachers and students,as well as the base of pedagogical practices.Textbook of teaching Chinese as a foreign language not only play an important role in the educational activities,but also matters for the promotion of Chinese international education.In the advent of globalization,Chinese becomes international gradually,the number of people learning Chinese have been increasing rapidly.Textbook,as the carrier of Chinese output,attracts more attention and people pursue higher standards of it.Compared with the Experiencing Chinese intermediate course(1,2)and the Developing Chinese Intermediate Comprehensive Course(I,II),this paper analyzes the similarities and differences in the macroscopic aspect,text,new words and grammar between the two textbooks and explores their specific characters.In the macroscopic aspect,due to the different concepts,the two textbooks highlights the different principles of writing and design different structure.In the text,both have a variety of topics and genres,but either of the two books lays different emphasis particularly.About new words,two books use the same definition methods but adopt different number of words and specific requirements.In terms of grammar,there are differences in the selection,segmentation and arrangement of the same grammar points.Through the summary,there is the enlightenment of textbooks compilation and usage,which is hoped to be helpful to provide reference for the compilation and usage of the the comprehensive textbook of teaching Chinese as a second language.
