Research On The Current Development Of Chime Culture

As an important instrument of ritual music culture in the pre-Qin period,chime bells play an irreplaceable role in the history of ancient music and even the whole history of China.With the discovery of chime bells in the 1970 s,chime culture once again became a hot topic for experts and scholars.In the first 30 years of Zeng Zhong’s excavation,the academic research on chime bells has made great achievements.In the fourth decade,the study of chime bells has shifted from theory to practice.The construction of chime culture has become the focus of public attention.How to adapt chime culture to the development needs of contemporary society is an unavoidable problem.This paper will be able to represent the actual form of chime culture-chime music creation and performance as the research object,starting with the expression form of chime music in contemporary society and the application of chime music in contemporary music works,mining the value and connotation of chime culture from the outside to the inside.First of all,by collecting historical materials and documents,this paper makes a brief statement of the early history and function of chime bells,which shows that chime culture is the unique and irreversible treasure of human beings,and expounds the necessity of protecting and paying attention to its continuation and development;secondly,this paper analyzes the contemporary music of chime bells from the present forms of chime music-performance activities,artistic creation,etc Finally,according to the development status of chime music and culture,from the existing construction results of chime culture to the development of chime reproduction,explore the value and protection of chime culture,as well as the future development trend.In today’s society,cultural self-confidence has become the cornerstone of building and developing the country.To improve the national cultural soft power and cultural construction,it is necessary to have a carrier like the chime traditional culture.Therefore,the continuation of traditional culture should be supported and valued.Taking the artistic creation of chime music as an example,the state and government should vigorously support the artistic creation,increase the publicity of chime artistic creation,and expand the living space of traditional culture in contemporary society.
