The fundamental task of education is strengthen moral education and cultivate people.Schools should attach importance to the educational function of curriculum and make full use of classroom teaching as the main channel to guide all subjects to integrate moral education into education and teaching.It means that teaching English in primary school is not only teaching vocabulary and grammar but also paying morel attention to the core competence of students,which includes core socialist values to improve students' moral level.The focus of this dissertation is the moral education infiltration in English textbooks.This dissertation doesn't far-fetched to conclude the content of the textbooks into the same moral meaning.It doesn't set the same goals of the moral education for all lessons which makes moral education become formalistic,either.According to the Requirements of Moral Education Work Guide for Primary and Secondary Schools and the Compulsory Education English Curriculum Standard,this dissertation analyses and researches the moral education infiltration in English teaching,using the texts of Jing Tong English(People's Education Press Edition)as examples.The author uses literature research method and text analysis method in this dissertation.In order to make the moral education can be infiltrated into English teaching skillfully as “moisten things silently”,the author summarize and conclude the topics of Jing Tong English.The author also puts forward the ways of moral education infiltration in the textbook and illustrates how to conduct reasonable moral education infiltration with examples.The author investigates some current researches on moral education infiltration in the textbooks and finds out there are some limitation in the researches,which means that the direction of moral education infiltration is relatively simple and formative.Therefore,teachers should follow theories of moral education and the target of emotion and attitude in English curriculum standards and grasp opportunities to infiltrate moral education in English teaching.Teachers should try their best to develop their own moral qualities and infiltrate moral education in their teaching plans.Teachers also need to keep in mind hat moral education should be infiltrated into English teaching in and out of class.The author of this dissertation summarizes and analyzes the methods and content of moral education infiltration,making moral education infiltration become morediverse and flexible.These methods help to find out the deep connotation and extensive moral education infiltration.Therefore English teaching can achieve a deeper emotional attitude goal and educational function.The author hopes that the dissertation could provide suggestions and reference for infiltrating moral education in English teaching.
