The content of moral education for junior middle school students includes patriotism,morality,rule of law and good personality and psychological quality education.The State Council requires that moral education should be placed in the first place in education and run through the teaching of all subjects.Taking moral education as the fundamental task,it undertakes the important historical mission of teaching and educating people.Junior high school students are in adolescence,and their thoughts are not mature,so they need the active guidance of teachers of all subjects.After consulting relevant literature,the author takes junior high school English teachers as the main object of study and junior high school students as the auxiliary object of study.Using the survey method,the author investigates the current status of moral education and puts forward corresponding suggestions to solve the problems.The first stage of this study is the theoretical study of literature reading,the second stage is the investigation and research,and the third stage is to put forward the countermeasures to solve the problems according to the analysis results of the problems.In this paper,a questionnaire is designed to investigate English teachers’ moral education awareness,moral education methods,moral education behaviors and moral education effects.The student questionnaire investigated the way,timing and content of teachers’ moral education implementation.Through the analysis of the survey results of teachers and students,this paper finds out the reasons for the low efficiency of moral education.On this basis,the author analyzes the moral connotation of junior high school English textbooks,and summarizes the moral content of the textbooks.Finally,through the concrete analysis of the reasons,the author puts forward the countermeasures to solve the problem of moral education penetration in English teaching,including the following four aspects: mining the content of teaching materials to implement moral education;Implement moral education by using teacher’s profession demonstration;Implementing moral education in classroom activities;Use English environment to implement moral education.And give specific cases,in order to effectively help junior high school English teachers to find the entry point and strategy of combining English teaching and moral education penetration.
