Tibetan classical poetry is a dazzling pearl in the treasure house of Chinese culture and art.Its unique charm, rigorous rhyme, and various forms show the beauty of poetry.Through Tibetan classical poetry,we realize the poet's personality and enjoy the elegant art of poetry.Sublimate our own ideological realm;through poetry,we understand the characteristics and commonalities of various nationalities, and the true nature and beauty of human nature. Therefore, appreciation and translation of poetry are also very important.Translating it into the languages of different nationalities will help increase the influence of Tibetan classical poetry. However,as far as its Chinese translation is concerned, most of the existing studies have been carried out from the perspective of culture and linguistics, and only a few have been analyzed from the perspective of aesthetics. There are few studies on whether the translation of poetry is truly expressive and whether the translation has the same aesthetic elements as the original. To translate poetry, you must first appreciate it.The "Five Elephant Beauty Theory of Poetry Translation" proposed by Professor Gu Zhengkun provides a method of appreciation and translation for poetry appreciation, and provides a new perspective for poetry translation. This article intends to apply the "Five Elephant Beauty Theory" of Professor Gu Zhengkun to the formal beauty of poetry,Appreciation of the beauty of connotation and music, and put forward a reasonable translation method,so that the study of Chinese translation of Tibetan poetry is broader, and the translation is better presented in terms of aesthetics,so that the study of Chinese translation of Tibetan classical poetry is closer to the original.
