Ballads are a kind of verse works that can be sung or chanted. They can be traced back to the early development of human society. They were already in the pre-Qin period, and the Han Dynasty was a flourishing period for the development of ballads. In the history of Chinese literature, when referring to the ballads of the Han Dynasty, the first thing that comes to mind is the folk songs of the Hanyuefu, and the folk songs of the Hanyuefu are the most studied. In fact,in addition to the folk songs of the Hanyuefu, the ballads of the Han Dynasty are also rich in folk ballads, emperor and aristocatic ballads, and some bureaucrats literati have also passes on ballad works. These workes have been ignored by the history of literature.Even occasional mentions are limited to Xiang Yu's Song of Gai Xia,Liu Bang's Song of the Wind and some works of Emperor HanWU,while others such as Mrs.Qi,YanWang LiuDan,and GuangLingWang LiuXu's works are little known. There are more folk songs that are rarely mentioned. The bureaucratic writers' songs are mostly attached to their essays, and generally no special research is conducted. The folk songs mentioned here refer to those that may not have been processed by the literati,or even have a strong folk Social secular atmosphere even if they are processed. These works are definitely inferior to Han Yuefu folk songs and other literary works at the artistic level, but these works are the prototype of early poetry, from which we can see the development of some special poetic genre."The hungry sings the food, the laborers sing thestory" is the basic characteristic of the ballad. No single ballad was created for no reason. The ballad carries the singer's joy and sorrow with its simple and rustic features. The same is true of the Han dynasties ballads mentioned above, they have different creation groups. The works of these creation groups have their own characteristics, showing their different life and emotional experiences. The ballads of the Han Dynasty are mostly contained in the history books of the Han Dynasty. Therefore, researchers have regarded ballads as a supplement to history and ignored that as a kind of literature, its emergence and existence has its unique significance. Therefore, the author conducts research from two aspects: First,it is based on the content of the ballads of the Han Dynasty, combined with historical books,to understand the rich historical background of its occurrence, and from a special perspective of the ballads,it is possible to re-examine and feel some important historical events of the Western Han Dynasty. The second is starting from the Han Dynasty ballads themselves, study the literary characteristics of the ballads, that is,the Han Dynasty ballad sentence patterns, language, rhyme, etc.,due to the different identity of the creator, there are different situations. The most representative is the ballad works of emperor nobles and bureaucratic literati. They love Chuge and mostly create Chuge. The spread of folk songs in the Han Dynasty is mainly spontaneous and official, and some folk songs will have a certain influence in the spread. The influence here refers not only to the social impact of the Han Dynasty ballads on the Han Dynasty at that time, but also to the literary influence of the Han Dynasty ballads on later generations. The social impact caused by Han Dynasty ballads should be analyzed in the context of the production of ballads, and the literary influence of Han Dynasty ballads is mainly the impact on the creation of poetry in later generations. There are two main points: Han dynasties are condensed into allusions with specific meanings and are used in later poems;later poems borrow the original sentence of Han dynasties.
