Left-wing literature was once exiled from the narrative of literary history because of its close connection with politics, but with the reinterpretation of revolutionary modernity, the study of left-wing literature has gradually heated up in recent years.Among them, the left-wing writers' jail writings, despite the attention and affirmation of some scholars, are still mostly aphasia in literary history.Under the influence of the special utterances of the 1930 s,the writing of prisons in left-wing literature almost always aims at exposing and caring about social realities. Therefore,in its various texts, the left-wing writers always use sharp contrasts while criticizing the foulness of the prison space representing the will and interests of the ruling class and the cruel greed of the prison supervisors, while praising the revolutionary's determination and fearlessness of life and death.Fearless, thus completing the concrete transmission of the theme of the era of "revolution".At the same time, many left-wing writers have also paid close attention to the human nature of the bottom prisoners in prison with sharp brush strokes. This not only keeps the prison writing in left-wing literature retains the aesthetic and humanistic value of the literature, but also opens up the history of Chinese literature. For a deep narrative of prison. This thesis consists of six parts. The first chapter is an introduction, which summarizes the current research review of left-wing literature in academic circles, defines the research object of this thesis, and finally determines the value and significance of studying jail writing in left-wing literature. The second chapter mainly analyzes and explores the close relationship between left-wing writers' writing jail, revolution and practical problems in the 1930 s.In the 1930 s,left-wing intellectuals,in the face of frequent prison events and imperialist aggression, were motivated by revolutionary consciousness, and they either intentionally chose based on their own prison experience or based on the true experience of relatives and friends in prison Prison,a special space embodying the ruler's brutal will, began to narrate, and participated in the construction of prison literature in different literary forms, and finally completed its dualpurpose of criticizing society and advancing revolution. The third chapter mainly analyzes and discusses that in the process of constructing multiple prison spaces,left-wing writers have gradually completed the disclosure of reality and the beautiful vision of revolution. The prison space in left-wing literature can be subdivided into three categories: realistic physical living space, memorable dark power space, and sacred revolutionary space. The Kuomintang prison, the pseudo-Manchurian prison, and the Shanghai Concession are all the starting points for narrative development, and are the necessary physical living space for text characters to take action. On top of this real living space, the complex interpersonal relationships will again generate the dark power space of the prison, and the dirty and violent power and money transactions will be displayed to the fullest. Finally, while sparing no effort to present the physical living space and dark power space, the revolutionary psychological space of the creative subject was also clearly constructed in the process. The fourth chapter mainly analyzes the vivid modeling of various characters in the prison in the writing of the left wing prison.Specifically, according to status and rights enjoyed in prisons, these flesh-and-blood,complex-character sentient beings can be roughly divided into two categories: first, prison supervisors in turbulent times, and second, prisoner sentient beings under sick prison management..On the one hand,left-wing writers continue to ugly upper-level prisoners and leading forces, and beautify tall and powerful political prisoners;on the other hand, they continue to explore the caretaker and lower-level prisoners of different personalities. The vivid artistic expression also enables him to complete a heavy historical narrative that exposes reality and a deep critique of human nature in the prison narrative. The fifth chapter analyzes the aesthetic limitations in the writing of the left wing prison, and puts it in the perspective of the history of literature for investigation. The left-wing writers carefully designed the plot and the rational creation of the characters, not only caused the jail writing in left-wing literature to show certain aesthetic limitations, but also emphasized the literary fighting function. It also caused the left-wing writers to write mostly short stories, even some Appears directly in sketched form. However,if the jail writing of left-wing writers in the 1930 s is placed on the horizontal and vertical diachronic coordinates of literary history, the jail writing in left-wing literature promotes the development of jail narrative, the expansion of literary themes, and the connection between literature and art and revolution. In terms of exposing and insinuating reality, especially in the image building of prisoners, there are obviously new and worthy contributions. The sixth chapter is the conclusion, which mainly evaluates and summarizes the jailwriting in left-wing literature from a perspective of literary history.
