This thesis consists of five parts:introduction, chapter one, chapter two, the third chapter and conclusion.The first chapter discusses the reasons of the Left Prison novels in the thirties in China. During that time, the social was unstable. Prison events and prison phenomenon happened frequently, and formed a dark situation called "Prison" in our country. Such social environment stimulated the leftist writers’ desire to create a series of fictions about the prison events. Another motivation to create these novels was the coincidence between the disciplinary to the Left-wing writers by League of Left-Wing Writers and rational political demands of themselves.The second chapter aims to analyze the spatial image about "Prison" in the prison events fictions. Showed and exposed the hell temperament in the prison has become entry point by multitudinous left prison fictions narrative.
