Taking 2 Broke Girls as the text, this paper USES text analysis method to analyze the characters and story development of 2 Broke Girls for all six seasons, trying to discuss the feminism and limitations embodied in the drama,as well as the reference points for domestic female drama.2Broke Girls is an American sitcom produced by warner bros.television and aired on CBS in 2011.The show, which won the 38 th people's choice award for best new comedy series and several emmys, follows two poor girls in brooklyn who work together to pursue their cupcake dreams. The women in2 Broke Girls are venomous, ambitious and open-minded.They are loyal to their career and dare to pursue their dreams, which is a kind of liberation for women. However, the choice of appearance still follows the expression of mainstream economy, and there is also an insurmountable class gap among women. There is no answer to the balance between female production and reproduction. The men in 2 Broke Girls are no longer handsome princes but underclass brooklyn wunderlings whose flaws are obvious and vivid. But prejudice and stereotypes about race and class are also evident, with middle-class white men still the epitome of glamour. In recent years, domestic female dramas have appeared frequently, but most of them have superficial feminist thoughts and have too many emotional dramas, which can be used for reference in 2 Broke Girls. The feminist agenda set in2 Broke Girls is obviously helpful for women to complete the construction of self-consciousness,but it can't get rid of the expression of mainstream American ideology, and it avoids many important issues,so the discussion of feminism is not thorough enough.
